Amrit's Journey

Nearly two decades and 17,000+ treatments, meet the woman behind the practice.

Nearly two decades ago, Amrit Singh made a pivotal decision: leaving the music industry to pursue Chinese Medicine after facing her own health challenges.

Since becoming a Registered Acupuncturist in 2009, she has completed more than 17,000 treatments, supporting patients in cultivating longevity, vitality, and resilience through Traditional Chinese Medicine.  Amrit blends ancient techniques with modern wellness approaches to help women navigate the physical, emotional, and social pressures of everyday life.

Her clinical practice focuses on cosmetic acupuncture, reproductive health, digestive health, and mental health. Often referred to as The Bay Street Acupuncturist, Amrit has spent years working with Toronto’s leading professionals to address the impacts of chronic stress, fertility challenges, and performance burnout. Through acupuncture, nutrition, and lifestyle guidance, she empowers patients to understand their bodies through a holistic lens and take an active role in their healing.

Her work has been widely recognized, including being named Notable’s Healthcare Professional of the Year. She has appeared multiple times on national television with The Social and has been featured in Forbes, Flare, and on over 20 podcasts.

Beauty is not about perfection. It's about embracing your unique radiance and nurturing it with intention.

Building on her clinical expertise, Amrit brings her knowledge to the broader wellness industry, consulting on strategy and development for wellness spaces and longevity programming within leading hospitality and spa brands. Through her online platform, Wellness With Amrit, she continues to champion holistic wellbeing - offering guidance, clases and mentorship shaped by both professional expertise and lived experience.

Amrit is a fully insured and Registered Acupuncturist with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO), a former board member of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Ontario (TCMO) and is certified in Clean Needle Technique.

She trained internationally in Beijing, Tokyo, San Francisco, New York, and London, studying advanced cosmetic, orthopedic, and sports medicine acupuncture while deepening her understanding with internationally respected teachers, including Jeffrey Yuen. She also apprenticed with Takamasa Tsurusaki, R.Ac, in the Kiiko Matsumoto style—known for its precise diagnosis and gentle needling methods—and furthered her orthopedic expertise through the Acupuncture Sports Medicine Apprenticeship Program with Whitfield Reaves in the United States.
