What is Acupuncture?

  • Acupuncture is a gentle way to help your body restore balance and support its natural healing process.

You can think of acupuncture points like light switches in the body. When certain systems aren’t working as well as they should, specific “switches” may be turned off. During your visit, I select points that help turn those responses back on.

These points are connected by pathways called meridians and help communicate with your nervous system, organs, and tissues. Stimulating them can improve circulation, reduce inflammation, ease stress, and support overall balance.

Most points are located below the elbows and knees, making treatments relaxing and minimally invasive. Rather than forcing change, acupuncture works with your body—supporting it in doing what it already knows how to do: heal and rebalance.

  • Acupuncture can support a wide range of concerns, from headaches and migraines (one of my favourite conditions to treat), to injury and accident recovery, sports-related pain, and post-surgical healing. I also work with internal health concerns such as digestive issues, menstrual irregularities, hormonal balance, skin conditions, allergies, fertility, stress, and emotional wellbeing.

Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture can help tighten and lift the skin, stimulate collagen production, soften fine lines and wrinkles, and support concerns such as acne, scarring, and pigmentation, truly improving skin health from the inside out.

What is Cosmetic Acupuncture?

Cosmetic acupuncture is a natural, non-invasive treatment that supports skin health, collagen, and radiance from within. Using ultra-fine, single-use needles, this treatment gently stimulates circulation, encourages collagen production, and activates the body’s natural healing response. It helps soften the appearance of fine lines, improve firmness, lift, and refines overall skin tone, discolouration, and texture.

Rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, cosmetic acupuncture is a true two-in-one treatment. Each session begins with a comprehensive health history, followed by a personalized treatment that addresses the body as well as the face. By supporting internal balance alongside facial rejuvenation, this approach promotes whole-body wellness while enhancing skin health.
